CyberPunk 2080 Game
Hey All,
Just wanted to post something here to give a shout out to everyone that attends the Game Night.
I'm the guy who GMed the CP2020 game a few months back and I'm hoping to run more games.
For anyone who played in my games, feel free to drop me a line here so we can connect :)
Hammer Games August game night
Note temporary change of date
Due to a scheduling conflict with another event at the cafe, the August game night will be taking place on the second (not first) Wednesday of the month.
We should be back to our usual time in September.
Do you have any game in particular you'd like to bring or play? Mention it in the discussion forum!
The Dreamer's Genii
My submission for Game Chef '07, my first attempt. Won the "combined game + art" category. Art by TomasHVM. Available both as HTML and ReStructuredText.
The Flood: A surreal disaster from Zeitgeist to Apathy
My submission for Little Game Chef 2008.
The Flood is a live-action role-playing game for three to five players, which can be played with little to no preparation in any space you have available.
Going Home: an Urban Power Fantasy
My Game Chef submission for 2010.
You and your friends play three to five travellers, people traversing an urban landscape with their own personal destinations. We don’t know who these travellers are or where they are going. The game is about that discovery, and seeing what happens when they get there. Basically, “Falling Down”, the role playing game.
A game I'd like to try: Dogs in the Vineyard meets The Wire.
I don't mean a direct translation of DitV to The Wire, just that it occurred to me that DitV would be a great vehicle for a Detective Drama RPG. Perhaps all the cop movies is a better analogy, like Lethal Weapon, or the Dirty Harry movies. Two players is ideal--partners. The supernatural is dialed way down. Demons are things like booze and drugs, guilt, hatred, etc--the things that drive people to break the law. Escalation can remain exactly the same. It's something I would like to try!
WHFRP3: Session 1
The first session with our heroes:
- the Reiklander Zealot of Verena,
- the Reiklander Apprentice Wizard of the Bright Order,
- and the Karak Azgaraz Dwarfen Pit-fighter
and their adventures as the Band of Thugs they are...
Why are they headed to Stromdorf, the Empire city most well-known for its terrible weather, closely followed by its reputation for hostility to outsiders?
What is holding them together? Or perhaps more interestingly, what is the source of strife within this band of misifts?
