User Profile problem
Clicking on the name of a user other than yourself should take you to that user's (public) profile. Instead, you get a "sorry" permissions error page and are redirected to your own profile page. I think this is a bug in the User Profile module in XOOPS 2.3.

UPDATE: This seems to be fixed in 2.3.1-RC1, but I am unable to apply it because of other bugs. Happy.
UTF-8 migration issues
With the upgrade to XOOPS 2.3, data is stored and presented in UTF-8 format. This means special characters (apostrophes, copyright symbols, etc) entered under the old system may now render oddly in user's browsers.
Simply, rewrite the information each time one of these question-mark-dots are encountered. This will put it into MySQL in UTF-8, which should render fine.
Printable wiki links
"Printable version" links have been modified to override the style to MediaWiki mode, thus removing the XOOPS table "frames" from the printable version. It also opens the printable version in a new window. However, the next Wiki link you follow will now also open in MediaWiki mode since you have changed your preferred mode. Click on the Hammer Games to return to XOOPS mode.
Possible solutions:
- Edit the Printable Page template to include a link to switch back to XOOPS mode.
